Starch dewatering and flash dryer
- After the dewatering system unit, the wet starch cake is dried by a flash dryer.
- The dewatered wet starch cake (with or without circulation) is fed into the kicker mill.
- The air is heated in the heating box by means of steam.
- The dry starch and air are separated in cyclones.
- The air is removed via main fan.
- After passing a control sifter, the dry starch (as final product) is ready for stocking and packing.
