Starch dewatering and flash dryer

  • After the dewatering system unit, the wet starch cake is dried by a flash dryer.
    • The dewatered wet starch cake (with or without circulation) is fed into the kicker mill.
    • The air is heated in the heating box by means of steam.
    • The dry starch and air are separated in cyclones.
    • The air is removed via main fan.
    • After passing a control sifter, the dry starch (as final product) is ready for stocking and packing.
