Grinding mills
- Tooth-disc type and Pin mill type: after steeping, the softened corn kernel is grinded in a first and second mill in order to break it and release its germ.
- In the corn milling process, specially designed tooth-disc type degermination mills with special alloy casting for long-life usage, are used. Discs are available for rotation on both directions.
- Third grind mills are used to break the starch and protein blocks attached to the fiber particles that were primarily broken in the degermination mills.
- The impact mill features a vertically rotating rotor lined with impact pins that will provide an efficient separation of the fiber particle bound starch, with a minimal particle size reduction of the fiber.
